MAYBELLINE  -  EYELASHES, SKIN, & EYEBROWS WORKS | BEFORE & AFTER 5A

This campaign was about a Maybelline' eyelashes product.  Created eyelashes from scratch (paint + magic sauce) and added lighting, Depth-of-Field, and proper color/tonal variation to the fake lashes to give them definition and to situate them in the live action plate's environment.  Tidied up eyebrows lines and removed blemishes, pimples, freckle marks, and dark spots from the skin. Reduced skin roughness/pores around and under the eyes/upper cheeks, on the nose, and the forehead.  Work had to be ridden/racked to conform to the varying camera focus/Depth Of Field. As good as the web video algorithms are these days, still due to the unavoidable compression, care that I had taken in preserving the skin texture/detail is getting lost in the video above and is looking a bit soft, so please click on any of the high resolution stills below to launch the LightBox for a closer look.  But for critical evaluation and for the closest representation of the actual delivered work, please check out the uncompressed, full resolution stills (uncompressed TIFF files/images) further down the page, thanks.

The TIFF files/images (adjacent links to the right) were directly pulled from the system (Flame), from the work/project. To maintain the integrity of the work performed and to preserve the color fidelity, these images have not been tampered with in any way. Therefore when viewed on a broadcast or computer monitor, or on a laptop screen, the images will appear exactly as delivered. But since the screens on mobile devices may use a different color space, these images may not appear with proper and the intended color on mobile phones and tablets, etc.  The Hi-Rez images above for the light box however will appear fine on the hand-held mobile devices as the color profile of the images above have been appropriately optimized for the web and hand-held mobile devices.
