HEADLIGHTS/BEAMS CREATION | BEFORE & AFTER

The story line changed during offline and now the car's headlights had to be on as we cut to the shot above, but the chosen take of the car didn't have the headlights on.  I designed and created the light fall on the ground with keeping in mind the reflective & refractive nature of the headlamps. Created the light bounce on the ground with varying shapes of intensity and relit the environment including the cement column (camera right) for photorealism.  Created the atmospheric effect thru the light beams (dust particles, smoke, etc.)  All done in 2D and fast, with the help of flame' excellent arsenal of toolset without the help of any 3D package even though the shot had a fair amount of perspective shift.
