DODGE  "SHAFT"

Conformed, composited, onlined / Finished the spot.  Created the Elevator effect from scratch (including the look of the Glass doors with refractive distortion, reflections, thickness of the glass, and color tint/shifts, etc, all in 2D).  Used still frames of cogs, pulleys, and other mechanical components and hand-animated them and used expressions to mimic/fake their back and forth rocking motion as the elevator begins to move and/or comes to a stop. Added fake lighting/shading to the cogs/pulleys and machinery components and bit of motion blur overall for some photorealism. Agency Art gave us the creative freedom so I went for a photoreal/grahpic design look. All VFX work was performed in 2D/Flame without the help of any 3D apps or 3D elements. Please view the still frames (puled from the spot) below for a closer look, many thanks.
